Every field employee for De Berardini Heavy Haul is trained and certified for forklift & rigging practices upon hiring. When involving equipment operations we believe great equipment only works as well as the operators. Therefore all transport operators go through a meticulous training sequence including classroom time as well as on the job training. Operators are then placed based on their skill level. Operators may advance in ranking but only after demonstrating excellent proficiency to company management. With this system De Berardini Heavy Haul ensures every operator is appropriate for each assigned task.
De Berardini Heavy Haul has built a reputation on providing customer service & satisfaction. Consequently we have very stringent requirements that all drivers must meet to drive for De Berardini Heavy Haul and all safety compliance flags are clearly visible. Some of the requirements are:
Satisfactory work record
Knowledge of dot regulations
Satisfactory driving record
Acceptable CSA score
Acceptable criminal background check
Pass pre-hire and random drug and alcohol testing
Must be 23 years old or older
5 years of heavy haul experience
Site specific training
Pilot escort & flagging training
MSHA training and refresher
